Container Ship “RENA” Grounded on Astrolabe Reef New Zealand

The fully loaded container ship caused the worst environmental disaster in New Zealand’s history. Maritime New Zealand in preparing for the ‘worst case scenario’ requested AMSA for assistance. Oil Pollution Breakfast

Ben,Narelle,Mark and Anthony on behalf of ORCA attended the Department of Transport Victoria(SEMD)Marine Pollution Breakfast on 8th April 2011. The Breakfast was aimed at informing Victorian Emergency Services about Marine Pollution response and how they fit into the Incident Management Framework.
