- OIL SPILL RESPONSE. ORCA can provide competent responders with experience ranging from oil spill commanders down to team members.
- For most agencies the ability to perform effectively during a pollution incident can be severely hampered by a lack of available trained personnel or insufficient training for those who are available. By working with our clients we can deliver a realistic and workable solution to these issues. This will not only enable clients to meet their corporate objectives and community expectations, but will be achieved in a cost effective and efficient manner.
- ORCA personnel have attended all significant incidents throughout the country spanning many years including Al Qurain and Phillip Island (Victoria), Iron Baron (Tasmania), Laura D’Amato, Pasha Bulker (NSW), Korean Star, Sanko Harvest and Kirki (Western Australia), Peacock, Bunga Teratai Satu, Global Peace and Pacific Adventurer (Queensland).
- International incidents attended by ORCA personnel include Gulf War Spill (Arabian Gulf), Evoikos/Global Orophin (Singapore) and Jody F Millennium (New Zealand).
- ORCA personnel have been involved in onboard oil transfer and removal operations in a range of incidents including Kirki, Australia Ocean, Warrior LT, Iron Baron, Peacock and Jody F Millennium.
- During the term of ORCA’s current contract with SEMD¸previously MSV the company has always met or exceeded the oil spill response requirements of the contract
